fossil-fired power
Fossil-fired power plants make it possible to finely adapt the amount of power generated to the amount of power being consumed.
These flexible and responsive facilities are essential in providing an immediate response to power fluctuations.
In order to meet the increasing demand for electrical power, EDF is upgrading its fleet of fossil-fired power plants by improving the technical and environmental performance of existing plants and building new fossil-fired facilities.
